About Joe
Joe is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Missouri. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He was then employed as an accountant with a private accounting firm in Boonville, earning his CPA license in 1979. In 1981, Joe founded Gerding, Korte and Chitwood, CPA's with Bob Gerding and Fred Korte. Joe has extensive experience in auditing cities related governmental entities, and his audit client base is also primarily composed of governmental entities. He has attended numerous conferences related to governmental auditing requirements and techniques.
